ABOUT ME

I hope you're enjoying my website and thanks for wanting to learn a little bit about me! I am Aaron Vranken, a professional software engineer with experience working in corporate, non-profit and freelance roles.

This website is an amalgam of my different interests. The articles I share here derive from lessons I have learned while working on projects, my academic interests and little ideas I've been tinkering on in my spare time. 



My current interests in computer science are new and interesting DevOps solutions to streamline development, deployment and system setup as well as clean ways to handle data using methods such as parser combinators, generic variadic types and a healthy dose of macros and code generation.


As a side note: I have studied philosophy and it remains one of my passions to this day. My field of expertise is Western Modern Philosophy from the 16th to 18th century as well as early 20th century Philosophy of Mathematics and Phenomenology.
